Seicento. Nice stance, bigger doors.
Much like the 500L and the 500X, but a definite upgrade.

Based on what Carlos has said it doesn’t sound like he’s asking the Fiat team to focus too hard on the US moving forward. Probably not a bad idea given everything else at play.Looks good. And a lot better than Renegade.
Fiat can sell here, but it would need to do a lot of tough homework first.
Whether Fiat executives are willing to swallow their pride, admit mea culpa, and do what they need to do, that’s an entirely different matter.
I don’t see it happening any time soon.
Fiat can sell here, they just have to price it $2000 under the competition, and compete in a segment that people actually buy a lot of. Fiat can't sell here as a "Premium" mainstream brand, or with minicompact cars and SUVs (500, 500X), or anything in their present European and LATAM lineups.Looks good. And a lot better than Renegade.

I agree this looks much better from the front, but that short overhang looks like another SUV with no utility. Even to succeed as a hatchback it needs over 20 cu ft of luggage space. It certainly can't be a RAV4 / CR-V figher (37.6 cu ft / 39.3 cu ft).
As long as Fiat sells $12K junk in LATAM it will have a weak brand perception as a cheap foreign brand. That means they need to give up sales leadership in LATAM to the Asians to appeal to US consumers, which they won't do. That is more about pride than the small profits from LATAM that could easily be offset with US sales. Far easier to return the economy / mainstream cars to Dodge with PSA based STLA Small / Medium than to convince US consumers to buy Fiat.I agree.
Having to sell at a discount is the direct result of weak brand perceptions.
I see a reluctance at Stellantis, likely a legacy from FCA, to have to discount at all.
More than half the inventory at my local CDJR dealership has “2022” plastered on the windshield —Wranglers, Gladiators, Grand Cherokees, Wagoneers, Compass.
This is now the month of May, which means someone has been paying —high— interest on all that inventory for the past six months, at least. Yet you wouldn’t know it by the prices they are still asking.
I honestly don’t get it.
I've been thinking the same thing for countless products.Given the side profile, with a different front and rear clip this could be a really good new PT Cruiser.
I don’t think bringing it as a Fiat makes any sense though. Let that brand fade out, send their products to the other Mopar brands here. The 124 for example would have done well as a Dodge.
Chrysler Canada is being much more aggressive with the discounts.Lots of '22s on the lots still in Winnipeg. On the local dealer website, some are $12k off with rebates.
btw, Fiat 600 looks great!
