Saw the new Lexus GX/Land Cruiser parked outside Lowe's the other day. I was surprised how BIG it is!

The automatic liftgate got stuck halfway; it was sitting on the parking lot with the rear gate half open...

We do not have a Lexus dealer in Bellingham. The closest Lexus dealer is in Seattle, 80 miles away. That is going to be one expensive tow.

Still like it. I like the way they addressed the mirrors, the wheel wells, windshield, the rear quarter panel, and the lower areas of plastic. Of course the interior is nice, but I like the Jeep interiors better... and the other version of this (Land Cruiser) has the better rounded A/C vents. It's just a good looking vehicle and I hope Jeep counters with something similar and break away from the same old look everyone else uses. I don't care much for the front end though, it's ok just not great, the toyota version is more likable.

I wonder what the Infiniti version will look like? At least they reduced the size of that rear bumper. I like the baseball glove color inspired interior. But it's still a Nissan and having had 3 family members and a neighbor owning their trucks and two owning the Infiniti version of this, I have yet to be impressed. Many better options to go with. But I also have no need for this large of a vehicle and probably couldn't afford it if I did have the NEED. On a side note, Jeep/Wagoneer should really address their design cues with a more aggressive look and abandon the station wagon design. Maybe take some ideas off the new GX/LC from Toyota. That thing looks great, just underpowered in my opinion. Hopefully we get some greater vehicles over the next few years as some are due for their refresh/redesigns.
