I have a 2007 Caravan with 3.8L with 114k miles. Problem is in between 3000 mi oil changes it uses 2-3 qts of oil and the oil light comes on frequently. I don't see any leaks except some weeping between the block and oil pan. I would imagine that using that much oil that I should see an oil slick under the van when its parked or leaving a smoke screen behind it while driving if the piston rings are bad or the valve stem seals leaking. Over the weekend I'm going to put in a regular oil pressure gauge to see if I am really losing oil pressure or the sending unit is just bad. I hope someone in Mopar land might have an answer for this problem I have.
