HI all.

Just checked out some gear I got with a new project (Dodge) and I was happy to find a 360 Mopar engine among the goodies.

I might offload it as It is all really good stuff but wanted to know if it is rare as it is a 4 barrel Manifold?

Numbers:
Block 400 6830 360
Heads: 4027595 & 596
Cam: 23 C-17
Manifold: 4095080 (R)
Pistons: 341 8 645
Carby Carter Thermo quad 6-2363 (31)

I am going more rat rod and didn't want to abuse a matching numbers 360 motor if it was a collectible.

Thanks all.

I wouldn't call it "rare", but any 4 barrel engines are getting harder to find. It appears to be from a late '70's Mopar. Aside from someone wanting to get their RWD mopar as date-correct as possible or a NHRA/IHRA Stock class racer looking for the specific intake or head casting, it's not that special. Earlier Thermoquad 4 barrel intakes probably flow a little better than the later ones if there are no rule or date-correct restrictions.

You can go online and look up the casting numbers. There really aren't any 360 performance parts per se like GM and Ford, etc., but at least you can find out what the parts came from.
