So i got a 413 from a 63 imperial. When taring it down i seen .020 on pistons. Thought maybe a rebuild at some point but bearings all show as stock size other then main # 4&5 are factory .001 marked. And the gaskets/timing chain all looked original. The pistons carry a name of Bohnalite.
I'm hopeing i can clean the cylinders up .010 and run a .030 piston ring on these .020 piston i know its not ideal but it's just going in a weekend daily driver 59 savoy.

Has anyone else come across a block like this? I'm getting mixed answers from it not being factory bored to it being factory.

If it has an 'A' stamped on the engine # pad, it is a factory 0.020" bore oversize.
