Is a 78 Volare worth 500 bucks? This is only about 10 minutes down the road from me (check the ad)

I have seen this car many times being driven this past summer, I think it was the person's daily driver. One thing I noticed about this car, either it sat low in the back or it was riding high in the front. It just looked kinda funny going down the road

I'd be concerned about underbody rot. The front framerails on these cars rusted bad and it's hard to see the amount of rust without the car being up in the air. The worst spots were where the front framerails curve up under the front floorboard on the inside surface. If it's got the Super 6 (the 2bbl setup) that's worth about $200 of the cost of the car in parts.

The grille; if intact, is apparently worth a lot of $$$ too as are the taillights.

Very true. Nice 1978/1979 grill are big money, well over $100.
