67 Newport master cylinder setup

I'm swapping out the single master cylinder out of my 65 Newport for a dual out of a 67. Can someone tell me which reservoir is which. Is the front reservoir for the front brakes or vice versa. Thanks

I'm not positive, but I THINK the rear reservoir is for the front brakes and the front reservoir is for the rear ones.

I believe you will also need to plumb in a proportioning valve.

Definitely a porpotioning valve. Front reservoir to rear, rear reservoir to front brakes. Get a line diagram for the routing of the lines, that way the ports on the porportioning valve are set up correctly everywhere. Hopefully you can canibalize that from the 67 also.
