No reverse lights on my 68 Polara convt. Check wiring diagram shows two switches, nuetral safety and reverse light but only has one wire going to a nuetral safety. anyone have any ideas to check before I purchase a nuetral safety switch?
I show that you should have a three post switch and three wires going to the switch on the transmission. The brown wire is the neutal safety switch going up to the starter relay. The Black wire goes to the fuse box (hot). And the black w/tracer goes to the backup lights.
67 A body had backup switch on the column and single wire neutral safety switch. I think 68 C body was supposed to have 3 wire NSS, but look on your steering column to see if you maybe got an early production 68 using older parts. Has been known to happen.
