It appears that the Midnight Express, like the Warlock, could be equipped with just about any engine including the 440. But the 360 in the Lil Red still seemed to be the hot ticket over the other engines.

1978 was that ironic year when a Dodge or Plymouth 4 door sedan could be had with the E86 440 Magnum as a police package option yet that high output motor was not available in the 2 door versions, police or not, let alone any of the trucks. Yet the standard cam 440 could be had in almost any D/W series truck or B series van.
