heard a snap while rolling it down this week. The window now lists downward toward the front of the car. I took the panel off and all the inner parts look intact. There appears to be something broken off the window which might have slid in the rear track. A glass sharp perhaps? Junk yard? I can find any pieces inside the door so not sure what it used to look like.

There is a glass slide package part # 4339372. Google shows some hits. This is one with a picture.
This slide eventually wears and slips out of the channel. If it came off the glass, the slide may still be in the channel.

Thanks for the part number. The dealer could order it but want $10 for one. I bought 25 on Amazon for $16 so will sell some on Ebay cheap. I've check the channel but no fragments there so it must have fell on the ground.

Good advice John,. I sprayed white grease on the pivoting parts but didn't think about the tracks.

I don't know how to install the part once I get it. I have a rivet gun but doubt it works with this install. I also don't know how it goes back into the track. I imagine it is beveled somehow so you push it into the track then it gets trapped. I hope an install page comes with the part. If I get stumped can go to a glass shop and have them install it.

No instructions with the part. Came with a compression rivet in two pieces (gold) and also a single rivet that I think requires a special tool. I used a vise-grip pliers to compress the two piece rivet. The arc in the jaws of the pliers missed the raised area that locks it in the track nicely. The plastic slide piece went right back into the groove with a push. Applied lots of white grease to everything and it is working fine now. It it compressed tightly it might hold up.
