If the yellow ABS light comes on, a helpful fault code is stored in the ABS module (even if the light goes out later or is intermittent). Low brake fluid level may trigger both the yellow ABS and red BRAKE warning lamps.
Some auto parts stores may have a free-use code reader capable of reading ABS fault codes. Don't replace anything just yet.
