All I can find on the Aero package is this. (From the Chrysler media site)

Dart Aero
The Aero model includes as standard equipment the 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine mated to the six-speed manual transmission or available six-speed DDCT; LED “racetrack” taillamps; underbody aero kit; active grille shutters, ultra-low-rolling resistance tires; speed-sensing power locks; keyless entry with panic alarm, body-color power mirrors; body-color door handles; air conditioning with Micron filter; Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) with trip computer; leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls; speed control; automatic headlamps; “Aero” badge; Black Denim cloth interior; tire inflator kit; single note horn and 16-inch wheels. The Dart Aero will have an EPA fuel economy rating of at least 41 mpg highway.

This sounds like the Aero will be slotted between the SE model and the SXT. I hope they can keep the price reasonable since it seems to have the SE interior and wheels. Does anyone have any more info?

From what I understand, there is a lot of parts sharing between the manual transmission and the DDCT. The gearing would get taller if they just use the manual transmission gear ratios in the dual clutch.

Here's my guess. LRR tires, aerodynamic touches, higher gear ratios, and limited option availability.

I was beginning to think the Aero package was vaporware. But it now shows up in the build and price on the Dodge website. The Aero is a package added to the Dart SE. There is one on the way to my dealer. This is how the package is listed on the window sticker.
