Allpar at Chryslers at Carlisle (PA), July 10-12, 2009
The 2009 show is over! We'll see you in 2010! (See our writeup of the full Chryslers at Carlisle show!)
Thanks to Theresa O'Neill, who handled the lunch arrangements and made the Allpar antenna flags; and to the Allpar Advisory Board, ASEC, and everyone who showed up. (The Allpar Advisory Board was inaugurated, consisting of Bob O'Neill (chair), Bob Lincoln, Jim Choate, Mike Valentine, and John Rogers.)
Things that worked this year: fresh water, little flags on the cars, two tables, just enough chairs, tent location (for the most part, and thanks Ed and Val from Carlisle Events), goodies, schedule (with exceptions to be noted), judging walks (though next year we need to start a little later).
Thanks to Jim Choate for setting up the hotel, booking a great rate and making it easy to convene.
Thanks to our speakers, Bob Lincoln, Bob O'Neill, and Mike Holler.
This may have been the best Carlisle event we've ever held. We had a total of 39 registrations, close to last year; a good location; an enthusiastic crowd; and everyone who won a trophy was present at the right time. Our tent attraction for Saturday was Bill Wetherholt's 1966 Charger, which brought a lot of visitors over.
