Allpar has hit 5,000 “likes” on Facebook. While a fraction of the “likes” of Chrysler itself, which is edging up to 650,000, it is an achievement for an independent site which does not post unique content on Facebook, and has no dedicated social media employees. Benefits of liking Allpar’s Facebook page include instant notification of news stories, and being able to see and like new features on Allpar as well as existing stories; viewers can also comment on the stories and provide direct feedback. The Chrysler Literature group on Facebook, which regularly posts classic product literature scans, is currently near 7,700 likes; its archive is maintained at allpar.
