Last month, when Chrysler was outsold by Honda, Allpar noted that July is usually a down month for sales and that July 2013 was an unusually weak month for Chrysler Group fleet sales. We said then that our analysis of Chrysler sales trends indicated a nice August rebound and that Chrysler should be back up to the No. 4 position in sales no later than September. August sales figures won't be released until tomorrow but based on forecasts from three analysts, it looks like Chrysler made it back in August. Michelle Krebs at Edmunds.com, Alec Gutierrez at KBB.com and Jesse Toprak at TrueCar.com all predict a sharp uptick for Chrysler. In fact, the consensus is that Chrysler's July-August increase will be the largest of any of the major automakers.
