Chrysler Canada reported their best May sales in 24 years, the tenth highest sales month in Chrysler Canada’s entire history, and the 42nd consecutive month of year-over-year sales growth. Ram, Town & Country, Avenger, and Dart set all-time sales records; passenger-car sales rose 24% over May 2012.

While Chrysler minivans are no longer perched atop Canadian sales at #1, Ram (8,045 units) was the second best selling vehicle in Canada and Caravan was the fifth best seller. Individual model sales figures are generally not released by Chrysler Canada except for chosen models, but the company sold 1,112 Town & Countries along with however-many Caravans. Jeep did well, with Patriot and Compass up 28% (around 1,500 combined sales); Wrangler remains the top selling compact SUV in Canada with 2,152 sales for the month, while Jeep Grand Cherokee because the top-selling full-size SUV with 1,266 sales.
