While Ram plays third fiddle in the United States behind Chevrolet and Ford, Ram had Canada’s best selling (at retail) heavy duty pickup in 2012, with a 36% retail market share. The Cummins-powered Ram Heavy Duty picked up 43% of the retail diesel pickup market. Chrysler Canada claims that Ram is Canada’s longest-lasting pickup line, since 79% of all Ram trucks sold over the last 25 years are still on the road. 87% of all Cummins-powered Rams sold since 1993 still on the road.
