I've been checking for this recall on the owner's website since this notice and no mention of it at all. Even just 2 weeks ago when I had a shock replaced under warranty.

But in yesterday's mail, a recall notice with the humorous note:

What Chrysler is doing -

The parts to required ... are currently not available.

It goes on to suggest I call a dealer and they will hold the parts, or to wait for another mailer when the parts become generally available.

If they've already had a running fix in place for months, what are they waiting for? Surely they've had time to order a batch of Loctite...

Any new news on this recall?

I've received the same notice, but haven't brought it yet (new baby dictating my schedule right now... :) )

I did speak to a dealer, who said they had no way to order the parts, much less "hold them" since they can't enter the work order until the second notice goes out. He sounded pretty frustrated, which I can understand - I'm getting there myself.

This has taken far too long.
