Jefferson Avenue is now producing right-hand-drive SRT Grand Cherokees, according to a source who provided this photo as evidence. The high-end performance SUVs are being exported to various right-hand-drive countries, indicating that the SRT Grand Cherokee may be available in the India, Indonesia, the UK, Australia, New Zealand,  Japan, and some other nations; but, mainly, we were told that SRT Grand Cherokees are being sent to Saudi Arabia.

Interesting. Figured we had been making these since the start of RHD production.

That's what I figured. So this isn't news.
They've been available in Aus for about 9 months or so now. Good to see the 2014's are getting closer in RHD form - supposedly mid June is local launch here.
This week RH drive Grand production has been running 10 - 13% of total Grand's built.
Good Grief Dave, Saudi Arabia has been LHD for 50+ years or more!!! Just the same as the USA.

Australia is the biggest SRT market outside North America, Most people in the UK wouldnt even know a Jeep if they fell over one, let alone an SRT version.

Of course these cars are bound for Oz.

Im sure One day the Indians may buy them, maybe in 100 years or so, at the moment Land Rover and Range Rover are the vehicle of choice for cashed up Maharajahs.

Actually, the middle east is a larger market for the Jeep SRT, but not by much:

2012+2013 model years (vehicles built):

1. Middle east: 909
2. Australia: 819
3. China: 442
4. South Africa: 392
So now my mail will be here way earlier.
Heck, I noticed more SRTs going to "GCC" than Australia just by working the line.

Yes, however,... Aren't we talking right hand drive here and the Middle East (and china, outside of Honk Kong) is left hand drive?

Yes. But my reply was to the "Australia is the biggest SRT market outside North America" comment :).

The RHD Jeep SRT's are built for 7 countries, of which Australia is by far the largest market:
Australia
Great Britain
Indonesia
Japan
New Zealand
Singapore
South Africa

I think we are on the same page. (Now ;) )
The confusion came about when the Middle East was thrown in, out of context.
The Middle East is a big export market for SRT, but isn't RHD.

Wait till you guys start feeding our hunger for the charger and challenger......Really... you'll see!!
Perhaps the wording of the News article was misleading.

The article was about production of RHD SRT Jeeps, then continued on about Saudi Arabia Jeeps, giving the impression that the article was still referring to RHD Jeeps.

Those figures are a little skewed as well, considering New Model RHD SRT jeeps and 300s have only appeared late last year or early this year, after an almost 18 month absence.

Production of the new model RHD SRT Jeeps started almost a year and a half ago, in January of 2012.
