Agree with all but the Santa Fe. The new one looks really aggressive and I think it's easily got best-in-class design now. But I also like some of the non-traditional designs. I do wish they'd posted whether they thought the RAV-4 was a hit or miss, though.

Motor Trend has the headline Refreshing or Revolting - 2019 Toyota RAV4 Refreshing or Revolting: 2019 Toyota RAV4 - Motor Trend When you read it turns out to be click bait: MT likes the new RAV4.

I think Toyota was correct to make RAV4 look more like a truck; I disagree with some of the specific details.

I agree with RDX. I disagree with the Cadillac XT4 - if you are going to nail Santa Fe and RDX, you need to nail the Cadillac too.

I am ambivalent about the VW pickup. I like the styling, but I don't know that styling alone is enough for a unibody pickup to be successful.

Refreshing or Revolting is a joke. They usually don't give much of an opinion, they just tell what has changed and expect people to chime in with their opinions. Thing is, they removed the comment section so now there's no point to the Refreshing or Revolting series at all.

I also don't really know that the XT4 was a hit. It didn't really advance that segment any further, it looks a lot like the XT5, and it has a surprising amount of cheap black plastic.

I agree with most but do not like the styling of the Corolla or Altima. The tire/wheel combo on the GMC is a joke. They have to get real here and look at a Ford Raptor to get an idea of what are pleasing proportions for a full size truck. The Lincoln and Cadillac models look great. I would not be caught driving any Lexus or Infiniti today, the Japanese makes are still getting hit with the ugly stick from hades.
