Beg to differ partly - changed it twice on our 1996 GV and once on our 1999 T&C - and both had ABS - there certainly is a proportioning valve - BUT it is NOT height sensing as it was on our 92 GC (don't remember if it had ABS). Its just a hydraulic valve that is mounted on the frame just ahead of the drivers side rear wheel. Just look in the wheel well opening ahead of the wheel you should see a little thing with 2 brake lines in and 2 brake lines out - about 2-3 inches long and an inch thick mounted on the frame rail - its mounted on a bracket that gives it a slight angle if I remember well. I suspect they are a kind of problem with the history I have with them starting to leak - brake fluid will drip from them - last time I bought a new one the part had been superceeded - wonder if someone figured out a better way to build them.
