One little bone to pick with the owner though, and that's this quote: "The upholstery fabric is also NOS and was still on the roll from the factory when I purchased it."
I say there's roughly a 0% chance that's the original interior fabric. Original would have been some sort of striped or solid wool, not a jacquard nylon fabric that appears to have metallic threads in it. Not sure if the owner is lying or if he got screwed over by the previous owner.
Regardless, that's a great looking DeSoto and super cool.

I really love those old brochures, was truly an art to it compared to now.
