Chrysler of Bulgaria (stub article)

Peter Panov, of the Walter P. Chrysler Club, wrote that when Bulgaria (next to Turkey and Greece) was behind the "Iron Curtain," it was hard to get new cars - or to junk old ones - and so many cars were kept working for a long length of time. He saw Dodge and Plymouth cars build from 1949 to 1964, and many Chrysler cars built after 1980; at least one (a 1959 Belvidere) had its original engine replaced by a Leland diesel.
