Charger would have been gone by now if not for the police package and fleet sales. Charger of course cannibalized 300 sales with the loss of the 6.4 to keep Charger alive, this was much more important than the supercharged engine. Post recession 300 peak was 2012

The deterioration in sales for the 300. From benchmark to "has been". Quite sad.

If I could run Chrysler I would have similar vehicles to Jaguar or BMW, 3 SUV's 2 cars and a flagship performance car like the Chrysler Firepower. Keep the classic Chrysler cues like Lexus did using the 61 Plymouth Fury as inspiration. Make them in the style of vehicles like F, E, and I Pace and XF Jags or maybe 5 and 7 Series Beamers . I would use the Chrysler 200 as my starting point, and update the 300. Drivetrains would all be hybrid with some of them to choose between hybrid or all electric.

If any company came out with a "modern retro" interior like that they deserve to be shot off into the sun. In fact, it would be better use of their money doing that than even attempting to sell the handful they would
Everything comes full circle...they will eventually be nostalgia for 1980's interior automotive design. The straight lines and minimalist look.

It's much too early for April Fools Day!

The entire 1961 ChryCo line should have gotten Virgil Exner exiled to Siberia!

Fixed the shifter going behind the screen, and changed the alphanumeric color to aqua, because green reminded me too much of Ford. Dodge and Chrysler used aqua.

Trust me i know, i work in design. The issue isn;t that something can be modern retro, it would be suicide pretty much using the same interior as a car back then now adays "prettied" up

Speaking of retro design, i recently re-looked at the Chrysler 1955 models, which were early Exner designs. They are actually really beautiful, classically styled vehicles. I would love to see some of those design cues come back, especially the fully radius'd wheel openings on the Imperial, and the very sleek taillights of the DeSoto and (Chrysler Windsor,) beautiful roof lines, and just enough chrome to enhance the body, minus the grills of course !
