The coming few years will tell us if Chrysler will still be around.
The replacment of the 300 has to be a winner.
Its time to make the decision. Chryler will be the People mover and have cars to compete with toyota.
They have to have more then 2 models, they need a small suv and a midsize suv.

I see so much potential with the Wagoneer, you can turn it into a lot of unique vehicles!

I did the Chrysler Imperial/Dodge Dynasty liftbacks and the Dodge Caravan/Chrysler Town & Country minivans, and I'm sure I can create more from its starting point.

I had this strange dream I was watching the Dodge Durango replacement reveal, and it was my Wagoneer-based Dynasty liftback that they had claimed got their proclaimed EV range, and could even tow close to what the Wagoneer can. Considering Dodge is Dodge, I wouldn't be surprised if they pull off such a strange move, even if it's not exactly the same.

If the Chrysler version looks like a Wagoneer with a different grill, then one of them is unnecessary.
The trick is using what IS NOT seen for both vehicles, then changing what is seen.
Proper examples of differentiation:
2023 Charger vs. 2023 Challenger vs. 2023 300
2021 Durango vs. 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee
2023 Wagoneer vs. 2023 Ram 1500
Poor examples of differentiation:
2015 Grand Caravan vs. 2015 Town & Country

Essentially keeping the frame the same, but changing the face, styling and power

Nope, you need to change more than the face. look at Durango vs Grand Cherokee.
pretty much every body panel is different. Wheel openings, window openings, etc.

Letting the Chrysler name and brand die would be shameful. Long live Wally P.
Airflow looks cool, but very Porsche-like. Hyundai in Korea seems to be trying to be what Chrysler should be. The 80s and 90s Hyundais had a lot of Chrysler K car influence. I don't know who came first, but it would be sad that they're building a design philosophy around copying.

Chrysler should look into some of its older (30s, 40s,) designs to inject some heritage back into the brand.

While I agree that leaving the Chrysler name die, it's more of a sin to just purposely starve it of products so the greedy execs can take home more bonus money. Or so they can manipulate the company for a merger. IMHO of course. Remember, Chrysler Corp. killed off one of W.P.s original creations, the DeSoto. So things happen.

Look at the vag group ( wv/audi and even some porsche pieces)
They have found out how a welldone badge engineering formula looks like.
audi- wv- skoda- seat etc all about the same but with different styling and ride aimed at different customers.
The cdj line up can be the same by doing badge engineering cleverly on all but the extremes ie jeep wrangler and minivans ( i dont see a jeep minivan...)

Lets make an example, ill take the smallest jeep renegade.
-its for it is a quite worthy offroader and thus a jeep.
To make it a small chrysler it could loose most of its offroad stamina but become lower to the ground, a bit softer more plush inside with some styling inside and a new chrysler grille and tail.
It needs to look and behave like a good awd car wich is a bit uppscale in feel and looks but not in price. It needs to look like a chrysler.
The same goes for dodge but in this case it will get a bit more agressive inside and out with the typical styling ques from dodge to identify it as a dodge.

First off you have to have creative minds at the top. They have none. IMHO they are shadetree mechanics with a budget, hence stuffing Hellcats in everything. That's all they can do. There is no vision forward. Tim K with an electric? That's so funny.

Why cant there be a Chrysler pick up, a different styled 1500 were upscale has replaced utility,?
Lower, softer, more plush, less tow, less cargo and a distinct chryler styling.

We aren't going to & shouldn't try to compete against Toyota. Their ballpark is not our ballpark. After 18 years of a successful 300, maybe it's time for another benchmark?
Chrysler's past home runs have been done by vehicles that no one else had at the time. The turbine evaluation car, the minivan, the PT, the Hemi, the re-introduction of the convertible, etc.

The Airflow II is a worthy concept car. A little nostalgia, a lot of technology, prudent utility & common sense.

We got 10 years to prove that we belong in the Stellantis portfolio. We have a lot of brands under one roof. Some may go away.
Chrysler has had its share of ups & downs, it would be a shame if it got cancelled for lack of interest. Not everything can or should be a Jeep or a Ram. I still enjoy a sensible 'luxury/prestige/comfort' sedan as a daily driver.

Right now Chrysler is a blank slate. That's not necessarily a bad thing, though there are people who can't let go of the various pasts. WIth the 300 gone, Chrysler is not a luxury or premium car maker. It makes minivans. And...hybrid minivans. And FCAllantis needs a volume brand in the US. The platforms exist to provide Chrysler with a decent lineup: rework the Compass into a 2WD compact crossover, maybe a resyled Giulia and/or Stelvio, might be a little expensive but that's got to be amortized by now from a research and design perspective. Keep them all 2WD so they don't compete with Jeep (with Jeep getting expensive, cheaper 2WD options would probably be welcome anyway). Maybe even finally make a (long overdue) passenger version of the ProMaster and sell it as a Chrysler maxivan.
