Hi There,

Just wondered if anyone has ever replaced their cigarette lighter socket in a 2004 sebring?

Need to replace mine.

Thanks,

Max

I can't help you, Max, because I'm not familiar with your vehicle. BUT, most of the time it's just a plastic housing around the lighter. It will either have screws in it or tabs that lock into the dash by pushing them in. Just use a plastic putty knife to pry the housing around it loose. You can use a flat tip screwdriver, but you may gouge the plastic by doing it that way.

You're welcome. Let us know how it works out for you. I find a lot of how to do videos on youtube, believe it or not.

Hi Chuzz,

Ended up changing the fuse and it still works even though a piece broke off inside..Cannot use the cigarette lighter but we can still use if for a power source which we need it for anyway..
