No, there is an offset of more than one inch and bolt pattern, gotta have that bracket, different between the 318/340 and 360 block. It's an easy salvage yard item.

nope, just got the motor mounts on the block, I havnt looked at it that close yet but I guess it will make more sense when I do, I think i'll have to shim it though, the auto wreckers here are getting harder to get old truck parts, especially Mopar stuff, I'm still confused over this flywheel thing, if the crank on the 318 is internally ballanced but the 360 is not, what is the procedeure for ballancing one, I checked with a couple of machaine shops and they say they can machine the clutch surface but cant ballence, is this done off the motor or on?

Externally balanced, they would take the crank, bob weight of the pistons, rods, bearings, then balance the harmonic balancer, crank, and flywheel and drill or add weight to the flywheel itself.
