I have 72 charger with 440. crankshaft pulley bolts sheared off completely. were able to drill them out of balancer and it looked ok. installed new pulley. now I have slight vibration when accelerating. should I have replaced the harmonic balancer as well or could the time have been altered when the pulley flew off? thanks Mark

Welcome to the forum. Anything is possible when the bolts sheared off. The rubber used to isolate the inner from the outer ring may have slipped, which is something that occurs over time with wear and age of the component. It can be difficult to determine the slip sometimes, but it would explain a vibration. Also, look for damage to any other brackets and pulleys as they may have been bent or tweaked when the pulley came off, causing a slight vibration from being out of round or now at an angle if bent.
