I let most of my ads for my soft top expire. Auto Trader has gone from ads to taking a cut when you sell your car. I reposted a Craigslist ad and have been getting a lot of calls but one has really stood out. He said I wanted too much. Looking at the factory undercoat he said it was bubbled up from rust. When I mentioned if it was the 4 door, I'd be keeping that. He was getting me annoyed and then he said they NEVER made a 4 door PT. Technically it was a 5 door, but that's amorphous so I'll let it slide. I mentioned my '09 and he said again they never made a 4 door.
Oh well, I saw where a lawmaker, is insisting the Earth is flat too.

Yep. Fortunately, in person I look like a real grouch. Hence my screen name. I actually consider myself a reasonably nice person. When inspired tough, I can cuss you out in 7 different languages. He told me my car was only worth $2000 at best. That on top of 4 doors never being built, I told him he didn't have to buy it and hung up.
Is the car for sale? Yes. Will I tolerate fools? No. In the ad I said interesting trades considered. I also have a '97 Dakota to throw in if someone has something really interesting. I don't really WANT to sell the truck, but would for the right price. It only has 97K on the chassis and only 64K on the engine.

I've also heard that duct tape won't fix stupid but it sure will muffle it.
