[Trailmaster]

In the early 80s my school district had a 65 Dodge bus, if I recall correctly, Wayne body 66 passenger that was the backup bus. It had a 318 poly and a 4 speed with 2 speed rear axle. The mainline busses were all Thomas bodied GM, with various big blocks and 4 or 5 speeds. I always enjoyed riding in the old bus, but not many people did, and most of the drivers complained loudly when they had to drive it. I recall once in 9th grade having to sit on the step and explain to the driver step by step how to operate the 2 speed, as he had never seen such a thing.

Sometime back they got rid of it, and though I've asked several times nobody seems to know where it might have wound up.
