I wanted more up-to-date car reliability information that made the differences between cars clearer. So a few years ago I started getting people together to make this possible. Partly thanks to support from this forum (for which I'm very grateful), TrueDelta now updates actual repair frequencies, not just dots, four times a year, to track cars closely as they age.

I'd like to provide solid stats for the Dodge Dart, just a matter of getting more owners involved. Participants simply report repairs the month after they occur on a one-page survey. When these are no repairs, they simply report an approximate odometer reading four times a year, following the end of each quarter.

To encourage participation, participants receive full access to all results, not just those for the Dart, for free. I'll share results for the Dart in this thread after each update.

Thanks for pointing that out. Read, and responded.

[break]

We remain short on Darts, so the earliest we'll have a reliability stat for the car will be May.

Despite being raised in a MOPAR family, after having driven the Dart, Avenger and 200, my recent college grad chose a Kia Optima. The Dart was too small, noisy and didn't handle or ride as well. We still own a 2002 Neon and I gotta say that the Dart is as close to a continuation of the Neon as possible. Crude. Failed attempt to step into the 21st century with a new platform even with the fabled "Fiat underpinnings".

I drive a 2010 R/T Challenger 6-speed and love it. The Neon and the Challenger are dead nuts reliable. Let's hope the Dart is at least that. Not bashing and will own MOPARS forever. I've always loved the connection they give me. They do need to step up their game though. There are not many of us lifers left.

We improve what we can based on the feedback we receive. I need something more specific in this case. An example of a site that provides a similar amount of information but that is much easier to use would also be helpful.

We've updated our reliability stats for the Dart to include owner experiences through September 30, 2014.

Repair frequencies, in terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year:

2013 Dart w/ 1.4T: 99, high
2013 Dart w/o 1.4T: 58, high

Additional participants especially needed for the 2014 and up.
