There's also been 3,303 Demon's built (including the 3 that burned down that Dodge built again for those customers).
This new model will likely barely reach a few hundred units at best. If a Demon owner wants to be mad about a faster, more exclusive car being offered, that's their issue... especially if it just happens to use the Demon engine but not the name.
That type of owner probably also made sure to re-buy the passenger seats at $1 each, re-adding a massive amount of heft so that they could complain about the 10.9 second quarter mile time they manage at best since weight magically doesn't make your drag car slower.
