Denver’s major drag-racing event will be titled the 2018 Dodge Mile-High NHRA Nationals Powered by Mopar.

This will be the 30th year that Chrysler, DaimlerChrysler, and FCA US brands will sponsor the race; Mopar is joining Dodge as a presenting sponsor.

Dodge Mile High Nationals

The challenging high-altitude NHRA event in the picturesque Rocky Mountains has been held for nearly four decades at Bandimere Speedway. The 39th such race will be held on July 20-22.

Brad Gerber, NHRA vice president and chief development officer, said, “Fans travel from all over the country to experience NHRA drag racing in Denver. It’s fitting that they make this race a part of the powerful Dodge brand.”

Dodge will also sponsor, for the third year, the NHRA Nationals in Reading, Pennsylvania, on September 13-16; and Dodge and Mopar are also increasing Leah Pritchett’s Top Fuel dragster, and continuing primary sponsorship of Matt Hagan’s Dodge Charger R/T Funny Car and a 4,800-square-foot exhibit for the NHRA Manufacturers Midway.

Dodge fans can stay in touch with racing news and events at the Dodge Garage, a one-stop digital content hub and premier destination for drag racing and muscle car enthusiasts, and at Mopar's blog .
