My car door has been giving me problems for years. It does not close properly. I have to slam it closed like 3 or 4 times. the door has a crack on the edge of the door where you Pull it from on the inside. Ive tried to weld it but it still cracked. So I went to the Junk yard and saw a 84 or 85 lebaron. looked just like my car pretty much. paid 65 bucks for the whole door with window. the door opened and closed nice and smooth. Is it hard to replace the door lock shafts? and any other tips I should know about? is it hard to take the window out? thanks

It's not that difficult to do either job as long as you take your time and are careful with removing the door panel. You may actually have an easier time of it if you do the swap with both doors off and lying on the ground. If you're not sure what parts go where, use a digital camera and take pictures before doing the swap. That way you'll have a reference.
