New here and not sure if correct place to post.
Just got a Hemi 5.7 engine and need help with the engine info as well as the year. I only see the casting number 5.7L and 53021318DL and a 1966 on the top valley.
Was given a completly disassembled engine, the issue with it was a flat lobe on the cam, was going to be rebuilt. Instead they bought new engine. Been sitting for a year.
Wanted to get the correct info before ordering parts, etc.
Future plan is to install engine in a 49 Dodge 1 ton truck. Unsure condition of original engine, but is locked up sitting for over 40+ years.
