What I have been looking for is information. I have a 99 dakota with 3.9 v6 and 5 spd manual. Will a pentastar 3.6 bolt to my ax15 trans? Some bolt in the 5.9, but I think the 3.6 would be: lighter, more stock hp/torque, & better mileage. Forget electronics, I just want the mechanicals for now.

The 3.0, 3.3, and 3.8, all fit with A604/41TE transmissions, so I believe that would be the same bolt pattern. I have worked on a 3.5 Pacifica and noticed it uses an A604/41TE with an adaptor with output shaft going to the rear in place of the diff cover, so I believe it will have the same bolt pattern also

The Mitsubishi 3.0L is a different case than the domestic 3.3/3.8L:
