I found a LH exhaust manifold in good shape at the local pull-a-part. Can't get it to come off the engine though. Any tips? Removed all 4 bolts/nuts, cut the exhaust pipe, and pulled the bolt from the crossover. Just need to break the gasket loose w/out cracking the mainfold.

No reason why it shouldn't come loose. If all the bolts are off and the exhaust pipe itself isn't attached, nothing else holding it. The EGR pipe is on the right side manifold I believe.

I'd take a ball peen hammer and a block of wood and tap it in the middle. If it doesn't come loose, I'd be looking to make sure I got every nut off the studs. I've never had a 3.9, but only four bolts/nuts hold it on? I thought there'd be 6 or 8 for some reason.

4 bolts per side is correct fro a V6, 6 would be correct for a v8.
I agree, it probably needs a tap to break loose, maybe it's been replaced and they tried a sealant instead of a gasket.
