After I have started my car and let it run for awhile I get an exhaust smell. After I park the car it smells up the garage for awhile, then it dissipates. The car is a 5.9 Duster, the timing is set properly and I was hoping someone might know what the cause could be.

Thanks,

What year? What sort of odor? Rotten eggs? If so, could be the catalytic converter is going or has gone. My Dad's 75 Fury (360 V8) had a unique odor - I believe that was the first year catalytic converters were required.

This can be normal for any old carbureted car.
