FCA’s American roughly 44,000 hourly employees will walk home with an average of $6,000 in profit-sharing this year.  The payments were part of the company's 2015 collective bargaining agreement, and are based on the adjusted earnings before interest and taxes in North America.


This payment brings the average employee’s profit sharing to $29,000 since 2009.

Since Fiat took control of the former Chrysler, it has invested $10 billion in the United States, creating (or resurrecting) nearly 30,000 jobs. It took back manufacturing of key parts, such as crankshafts, from foreign suppliers and rebuilt retail sales.
