The fact they have no remedy for that is mind blowing. They might as well said...hey we can't do anything so if it catches on fire that sucks.

Also this type of situation is similar(software error with Jeep) to what killed Anton Yelchin...

"A damaged or missing bushing may prevent the vehicle from shifting into the intended gear, and cause the vehicle to move in an unexpected direction," the government website says. "Additionally, the vehicle may roll after the driver selects the 'Park' position."
Ford’s issue is a failure of either the component or the assembly process. The Jeep problem was a design that had poor user tactile feedback. Same result, very different causes.

Ford is definitely having teething problems.
But at least they have a steady flow of new product instead of a trickle. Products people are lining up to buy. So if they get the issues taken care of quickly, they could still be in good standing. If not, ouch!

The Audi recall, like many other recalls, says there is a recall recently announced and parts will be made available in the future. Many FCA recalls were the same. If you show up before the parts are available, yeah the repair isn’t made.
