Hi all, I just replaced both hub/bearrings and axles on my 86 omni and the is alot of play in bother tires. Usually this means bad bearings but in this case it should not be. There is no shaking at all, actually very smooth at all speeds up to and past 85. Is this normal and if not, any ideas.

Can you actually see the play is in the hub bearing, or could it be in the ball joints or tie rod ends, etc? Is the axle hub nut at the correct torque?

The axle moves with the tire and movement can be seen at the cv joint. I'll try pulling the nut and reseating the axle to the hub on the side that has the most movement. The other side has movement but its not as pronounced.
