In its quest to protect itself from the threat of low-cost Chinese cars, Stellantis has announced that it will import GAC’s Empow as the new Dodge Attitude in Mexico. $1 (USD) is currently equivalent to $19.18 in Mexico pesos. In its quest to protect itself from the threat of low cost Chinese cars, Stellantis wil be importing them to Mexico themselves to share in the profits. Which isn't much different from Chrysler importing Mitsubishis from Japan, except this time they aren't coming to the US.

The 3rd Generation Attitude is a Mitsubishi G4 and is $14,375 in USD in Mexico, $17,795 in the US.

Well, yes... though it's not much of a share. I don't know, for people who seem to be terrified of Chinese automakers, they seem to be acting as the importers in a lot of places.
Not just importers, investors too.
