I found this video quite awhile back. Even though it's only a design concept I still found it interesting.

Looks like the tires/wheel balls they used in the movie “I Robot”.

Yeah it does. In the video they talk about using an electro-magnetic field so that the body of the vehicle would essentially "float" on top of these tires.

I guess that would do away with most suspension parts at least, which would be pretty brilliant if you ask me.
