Hello all! I am trying to replace the timing belt on my '02 LE. I have gotten the crankshaft bolt off but I cannot get the balancer off. I picked up the OEM puller from Autozone and had it on the outer edge of the pulley but it wouldn't budge. I've tried to get the puller into the slots on the inside of the pulley but they won't fit. The cover behind the pulley will only allow one to be attached (about two o'clock) but the other two won't (ten o'clock and 5 o'clock.) I don't want to keep pulling on the outer edge as It has already bent a little bit. Is there adifferent puller that wil work or some other method? Thanks!

Definitely the right one. It kind of works like the old hubs where you crank down and get some pressure on it, tap the end with a hammer, tighten it some more. They are tight. I actually took a small chunk of metal out of the inner lip on mine, didn't seem to harm a thing, but definitely not on the outside edges, it can break completely.
