I am a retired biomedical engineer and am restoring two 1956 Plymouth Belvederes.
One is a 4 door hardtop, the other a 4 door sedan. My father had a 4 door hardtop he purchased used in 1959. He traded it in for his first new car, a 1963 Plymouth Fury which he put about 130,000 miles on.
I had been looking for the '56 for a number of years and both showed up on the internet within the same month. The sedan is blue and white with 84000 original miles and appears to be entirely original ,including interior. The hardtop has been modified heavily and I am trying to restore it approximately to original condition. It has about 164,000 miles.
Thanks for allowing me on the site.

Welcome to Allpar, Lou. I love the body style on the 56's. Good luck with the restorations and post some pictures if you can.
