My home is in SW PA but I am a Winter Texan. Thoroughly Mopar. I have a 2007 grand Caravan, a 2002 300M and an 85 Chrysler T & C convertible with the 2.2 turbo. (My "cruise car") Thinking of selling the convertible and buying a Chrysler TC. This site has already provide me with some expert advice on the 300M and I would like some input on the TC before I buy one.

I guess it all depends on what you're looking to learn. I have a 99 GC and love it. I'm closing in on 200,000 miles and have had virtually zero problems other than normal maintenance items. Mine has the 3.3 engine and I love it. If I hadn't found it, I would have gone with the 3.8 just because of the reputation of it also being one of the most reliable engines ever put in the Mopar mini vans. I have a very good friend that has an 08 T&C with the 3.8 and she loves it. She's had absolutely zero problems with it at all. Go to the minivan section and post any questions you have. You'll get a lot of answers and suggestions.

I guess I didn't make myself clear. I am looking to sell the 85 T & C woody convertible and am thinking of buying a 89-91 Chrysler/Maserai TC. It is a 2 seater with a soft and hard top. The 89 has the 2.2 turbo and the 90 & 91 have the 3.0 Mitsubishi engine.

I agree on the 3.8 in the Caravans. I had a 2005 and then traded for a 2007 when they offered the "powertrain guaranty for life". Both were the 3.8 liter engine and I could not be happier with it. The new ones all seem to have the 3.6 pentastar engines and have a higher horsepower rating. I drove a rental van with that engine and it seemed to have poorer performance than my 3.8. I would be interested in any opinions on the 3.6.

My bad, man. I saw TC and automatically thought T&C. I don't know diddly about those cars, but did have a Diamante with the 3.0 SOHC engine. It was a pain in the rear to put a timing belt and water pump on, but was one heck of an engine. It was fast and pretty economical too.
