They've been using hero's as Jeep advertising, like the military in the Super Bowl ad. Chrysler would be smart to sponsor the rebuild, or buy it off him to permanently leave it as is and put it away in a museum as tribute to the people of Moore.
i very much agree, Jeep needs to jump on this! i feel they should document the repair rather than keep it as it is. the customer has emotional attachment to it, so let him keep it and make it good as new.
they could use a "hero" like campaign implying there's a hero in all of us. what will your jeep inspire you to do?
