Not to mention loss of EGR and preheater. And where does the O2 sensor go in the header? Same as in the stock manifold?
I see a few problems, biggest of which is that it doesn't fit anything newer than 1988. It also requires that you weld an O2 sensor fitting in, and splice the sensor leads to add sufficient length. And it calls for blocking EGR, which does violate federal law. Although you may never be caught, a future owner could put the cost burden on you to make it legal. And the instructions refer to the carburetor. That's never good.
I don't have a problem with welding on the bung and drilling a hole. I hadn't considered the EGR loss, but am happy to incorporate it. I am most concerned with how the actual header will fit. I am willing to make it work but iis nice when bolt-ons, do just that.
