High stance is welcomed in snow country which goes hand and hand with AWD. My '07 300C sits higher than its 2 wheel drive sister, and when one drives through five inches of snow that stance keeps you going. I can see that some of our southern friends have not had the pleasure of removing snow from under a car after it has floated up on a snow drift at speed... It's an unforgettable pleasure laying prone on the ground, scraping hard packed snow from the under carriage untill the wheels remake contact with thee road.
