okay, so i've been having this problem... I have an 87 New yorker with ATC, and every time I turn the heat on, the blend door gets stuck on heat, the only way i can fix it is by taking the actuator off and physically turning the door with vise grips. the actuator seems to be fine. i'm not sure whats causing the door to get stuck other than age. is this a common problem? How should I go about fixing it? is the blend air door serviceable? i'd like to hear your thoughts before i try taking it apart, as it would probably be an all day job for me, lol. Thanks :)

I may have fixed it, coated hand in silicone lubricant, reached in through the floor outlet, and rubbed the area where the blend door moves, seems fine now :)

1. Glad to hear you fixed it
2. You must have tiny hands, I know the vents are way too small to get my hands in on my Spirit, never mind reach any of the doors.
